This site is not just limited to the Samurai though! Back on the
main page users can choose from several other sections of the site. Cyber
Shrine is an image collection of temples and shrines. Virtual Mongolia

The Vietnam
Challenge

On January 1, 1998, 75 Extraordinary people came together for the Vietnam
Challenge, a very special athletic and goodwill event covering 1,200 miles
through the heart of
Vietnam. The Vietnam Challenge bicycling team, composed of persons with
and without disabilities, included many veterans of the war in Vietnam
- from both sides of the conflict. With world-renown athletes Greg LeMond
and Diana Nyad leading the way, the Challenge became a three-week journey
of discovery, an opening to the past and present of Vietnam. Through the
Asia Society's AskAsia, a Web site dedicated to providing quality K-12
resources on Asia, students in classrooms around the world followed their
progress and communicated with team members along the way.
